For 110 years, nestled in the picturesque
village of Arlington stands the Yew Tree Inn. The two and a half
acre plot has been owned by Peter and Joan Laws for the last 19
years. In that time they have built it up to the beautiful place
that you see today.
Peter and Joan are passionate about good food
and this is echoed in their enormous menu (and equally enormous
portions!) They serve only fresh, 100% home cooked food. Their
food is sourced locally, ensuring the freshest and
most delicious in Sussex. It doesn't end there - with the extensive
wine list and traditional Ales such as Harvey's, it really has
got it all!
As well as the outstanding menu, the place itself is quite a marvel.
There really is something for everyone - A large play area for
the kids, A traditional bar area with darts, where anyone can feel
at home. Dogs and dog walkers are more than welcome here. The Yew
Tree has indoor seating for 90, including a conservatory area.
With seating outdoors for nearly 50 people it is the perfect place
to make the most of summer time, and equally, with the log fires
and cosy surroundings, there is no place better to spend those
cold winter evenings. |
